Ayan Atreya

Ayan joined Edible Atlas at the beginning of 2026 and has quickly become an integral part of the lab, working with the engineering team to build an automated urine-measurement device and on the wastewater-sampling project. An undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill (class of 2029), Ayan is majoring in Biomedical Engineering with interests in regenerative medicine and medical micro-devices. When not working or studying, he enjoys baking bread, rock climbing, and writing poems.
